Carol Shaw is behind the faces of everyone from Debra Messing to Nicole Kidman to the Kardashians. The Hollywood make-up artist is also behind the Lorac line. Today she shows us how to put together nude lips and smoky eyes. For lips she uses Lorac lip pencil #18 with Vintage gloss. If you want the color to stay on longer than simply line your entire lip with the pencil and then apply the gloss over.
The key is to do nude lips and then play up the eyes. (Think of it like this: you don’t want to wear a short skirt and a low-cut blouse — simply choose one or the other, Shaw tells us.) She’s all about doing smoky eyes with plum colors or you can even go darker. “It’s my favorite look,” says Shaw. “It’s so soft.”
